A hand-thrown porcelain tea bowl with an organic and fluid shape that makes it comfortable to hold in the hands. Glazed with layers of my wood ash glaze and my Tenmoku glaze. Reduction-fired for 15 hours in my gas kiln. Holds approximately 250ml to the rim.
NOTE:
My pots are dishwasher and food safe, but please take care and washing by hand is the best option. Personally, I always hand wash my pots and tend not to use them in the microwave. Unlike mass produced ceramics, each of my pots is a unique hand-made piece whose finish is greatly influenced by the how the kiln fire impacts the glaze. As a result, no two pieces are alike and they will never be reproduced exactly as is.
