A hand-thrown stoneware cup with an organic and fluid shape that makes it comfortable to hold in the hands. Glazed with layers of my carbon-trap and traditional shinos as well as local wood ash. Reduction-fired for 15 hours in my gas kiln. Holds approximately 200ml to the rim.
NOTE:
My pots are dishwasher and food safe, but please take care and washing by hand is the best option. Personally, I always hand wash my pots and tend not to use them in the microwave. Unlike mass produced ceramics, each of my pots is a unique hand-made piece whose finish is greatly influenced by the how the kiln fire impacts the glaze. As a result, no two pieces are alike and they will never be reproduced exactly as is.
