Inspired by nature, dance, tea and poetry, ceramics is the concrete expression of my creative spirit. Working with clay is a dance, playing with the breath, with the body, the hands collaborate with the clay to give rise to organic forms. The second act of creation comes in the form of glazing. I create all of my glazes based on traditional inspirations (Shino, Celadon, wood ash, Oribe…). Each piece is decorated intuitively through dipping, dripping, brushing, splattering and applying glazes according to the piece’s unique shape. Finally, in the third act of creation, each piece is fired in my gas kiln for almost 24 hours and the spirit of the fire provides the last creative touch to finalize each piece.

“Go slowly, don’t rush, every step brings you to the best moment of life.”
Letting go
God of fire
Blood of the earth,
Fires from the hearth.
Water, air, earth & fire,
The elements aspire
to join in harmony. On being bold
It’s wet, it’s cold.
May I be so bold,
As to invite thee,
For a cup of tea?On love #1
Enjoy life, let go of strife.
Wander through, it’s all you.
Why so serious, enjoy the mysterious.
Smile with ease, life is such a tease.
