Dancing with clay
The complexity and harmony of nature,
Inspires quietly boisterous companions,
Dancing hands nurture organic shapes,
Singular vessels for tea and more…
Making a pot
I make pots with movement. One move brings on another until a vessel takes on its own proportions. I don’t interpret. I do. I present—in each pot, an unplanned dance unfolds.
Life is complex, and in this, harmony can be explored, enjoyed, lived. Leaving open the realm of possibilities, I welcome chance. Various rhythms, patterns and movements arise and fall. Each pot is a piece. Each series, a play.

A living practice
Clay is a living practice. Tea is a living practice. I am informed by this conversation. There is no pre-established plan, only experience and the willingness to change.
