Shipping

Domestic orders can take up to 5-6 business days, (or longer depending on the circumstances).

International orders can take up to 5-15 business days, (or longer depending on the circumstances).

If you’d like to come and collect your order, please get in touch. Shipping costs can be refunded if an order is picked up.

I always try to send things out as quickly as possible, but sometimes events/timing/number of orders can lead to it taking a few days before orders are shipped out. Please be patient as this business is run solely by me. If there are any delays in shipping a parcel, I will try to get in touch with you.

Items shipped abroad are within the jurisdiction of the receiving country’s postage service and customs. If there are any issues or missing parcels please get in touch with myself and the postage companies. I will always try my best to help the situation. While this happens very rarely, if anything goes wrong (broken/missing parcel), I deal with each situation individually and we can arrange for a refund or to ship out another order.

Orders shipped outside of France might be subject to customs and import duties. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel and I unfortunately have no control over these charges and cannot tell you what the cost might be. If you are surprised by charges you were not expecting, please contact your local customs office. If a parcel is returned to my workshop for unpaid customs charges, the customer must take full liability for any costs. Postal charges, return shipment costs, customs charges and handling fees will all be deducted from any refund.

If you provide the wrong shipping details and fail to identify this error and inform me before the parcel has been shipped out, then the lost parcel is your responsibility. I will always try to resolve the situation and sometimes an incorrect address can be rectified. However, if the parcel is lost, I will not offer a refund.

Returns and Refunds

I only accept returns if I shipped out the wrong item. While this should not happen, mistakes can be made. Please get in touch and I will rectify the order. However, if a pot has been used, I will not be able to refund or exchange it.

If your parcel hasn’t arrived a week after it was shipped out, please get in touch immediately as the chances of finding the parcel drop significantly the longer we wait. Please note that if you get in touch more than a month after the parcel was shipped, I will not be able to offer a full refund and a partial refund will be dependent on the situation.

Caring for pots

Some of my glazes are crackle glazes which will inherently stain over time. While these objects are made for daily use, they are also artisanal creations that require more care than normal mass produced ceramics. Please be careful with your pots. Wash them by hand if possible and I do not recommend dish washer or microwave use (they are dish washer safe and microwave safe, however I do not recommend this if you wish to care for your pot and have it to enjoy a long and happy life).

Shop updates

My online shop is restocked from time to time without any specific timeline. I annonce the webshop update on my Instagram page. If you sign up for my newsletter, you will get advanced notice of the webshop update. I often publish photos of recently fired pieces on Instagram. If you like something, please get in touch.

Information Collection and Use

Jeremy Keala Burns-Rupp operates jeremykeala.com, which provides information about my work and offers a storefront for items that are sold online. For a better experience with my services, I may ask you to provide certain personal information, including but not limited to your name, phone number, email address and postal address. This information is used to contact or identify you for my services. Your collected information will never be used or shared for anything other than sending out my newsletter or shipping out products you may have purchased on this website.

When you buy something on this website, I collect personal information from you to fulfill the order. Information such as:

  • Billing and shipping address
  • Email address
  • Name
  • Phone number

The webshop is run via Woocommerce, which may use certain information to process payment.

Marketing Emails

I may send you marketing emails to annonce the update of my webshop or other news. You can unsubscribe from this service by clicking the link at the bottom of the email. I share your contact information with my email marketing provider, so that they can send these emails on my behalf.
